Since I’m not original, and I need an introduction post for the blog, let’s talk a little about why make one in the first place and plans for the future when it comes to this website.

Why make a blog?

I’ve had multiple blogs through the years, mostly in Spanish talking about programming, marketing and building stuff online.

After I closed my SaaS a couple of years ago I also removed my personal website since it was only used to find freelance work, but now I miss a place where I can talk more seriously about topics that I like.

My YouTube channel is nice for games, but that audience doesn’t really care about other topics, hence why this blog was made.

Analytics, ads and more

I have a background in both programming and marketing. My previous project was a SaaS that I ran for 5+ years, and now I make content on YouTube.

I hate analytics and ads online. I’m tired of them. Sadly for those projects they are necessary if you want to keep paying the bills as a small creator since you need to analyze what works and what’s better to stop doing.

But this is just a small blog to talk about whatever interests me and keep track of it for the future. Nothing else.

Money

I’ve always loved the idea of open businesses and people who share their financials.

I plan to at least make a detailed yearly post going over how much I’ve made with content, different income streams and what I would change if I started over.

It’s an uncomfortable topic for a lot of people, so feel free to skip those articles.

Online personality

I love my streams and yelling about videogames, but in person I am the most boring guy you’ll ever meet.

Drink coffee. Going out to eat with my sister, code and play games. Normal dude that barely talks and loves to take naps.

This blog is also a way so I can work on more stuff without having to exaggerate my personality in order to keep the content entertaining.

Those are the reasons to make this blog a separate entity from my usual content.

Don’t expect consistency on writing new articles, and if you find this blog, I hope you can enjoy it.
